It might not have attracted the attention of the World’s media, but the Lanzarote Information Grand Prix last Sunday, organised brilliantly by the guys at Lanzarote Information, was as exciting as a Formula 1 race and definitely a lot more fun.

A brilliant day of screaming around the tracks at Go Karting San Bartolomé in the best Fernando Alonso fashion was made even more enjoyable by the fact that Team Sands Beach (aka Juan Carlos Albuixech and John Beckley) raced their way into a very impressive third position and a place on the winner’s podium. Ocean Lava Events took top spot with Colorworks in second.

Sands Beach Resort would like to pass on their thanks to everyone involved and especially Lanzarote Information for organising a fantastic event.

Next time out Team Sands Beach will be aiming to get their hands around that Champagne bottle at the end.
